Why would you stay outside of a tiny city like that?

Even if you're as cheap as high-heaven.. the idea of travel is to immerse yourself in the place, to walk & take in all the sounds, smells, sights and details that can't be found on pages. Florence is one of Italy's best cities/treasures, and if it's on your agenda -- why would you stay outside? what hustle & bustle is there in Florence?

If you are going to see Florence I would stay in the city but if you want to truly expericence Tuscany and the wine I might find a little bed and breakfast out the city if you have a car. I use www.selectitaly.com to find some good places. It is so pretty and nice out side the city the countryside is to die for.

It is beautiful , stay in the city and just explore everything ,maybe even find a beautiful bed and breakfast.
