I Have Braces, Do I Need To Floss If I Brush + Use Mouthwash? x?

am kinda worried my teeth are gonna be stained when i get my braces off, i already use mouthwash and brush my teeth plenty of times, so do i need to floss as well? + im getting twin blocks next week, will i need to floss when i have them?

just do it all, that's what i've been doing since i got my braces 3 years ago, it do all of that every day three times a day.

I hate to say it but you always need to floss no matter what.

Flossing is the only way to get rid of the bacteria that gets in between your teeth. I mean,sure your brush can get the bacteria on the outside but not deep down in between. And mouth wash kills a lot of bacteria but not enough and once bacteria builds up in once area it'll stain. Flossing is the most important, its a pain at first but once you get in the habit i'll be worth it to have REALLY nice teath :D

yes u do need to floss, flossing gets rid of the tiny bits of food stuck between the gaps of your teeth. Especially if you want your teeth in perfect condition. Of course don't over do it, you don't want your gum bleeding.

i just got mine off today and yes but not mouth wash that dosnt matter unless ur brth smells like a donkys a*****e

Well you do need to brush for sure and if you want u can mouthwash

but its your disision if you want to floss them or not i would know because ive had braces before :)

hey i only got my braces removed last week and my teeth were not stained. all i did was brush my teeth after breakfast every morning and just before i went to bed every night and did a mouthwash straight after dinner every night and i found my teeth were always nice and white and i do not have even the smallest bit of noticeability from my braces.

if youve never flossed in your life, the braces shouldnt make a difference. But dont drink/eat things that will stain your teeth. for example avoid coffee. and also brush your teeth a few times a day.

i have braces too and yes it is important to floss...BUT i don't, i use something that is called a Water Pic....you can by it at pretty much any store, i got mine at Target..it's the average pic that dentists use to rinse your mouth out...it is perfect for me it works just like floss would....when you floss you get all that food that you miss when you brush your teeth...it is very important to floss and yes you will most likely get a stain when the braces come off, but it is a huge hasle to floss w/ braces so i suggest the Water Pic.....
