  1. not really...

  2. Sucks for you...

Ask asians who want normal eyes!

  3. Thats kind of disrespectful to Chinese people, you want "normal" looking eyes?  As in western eyes?  Get plastic surgery if you hate yourself.

  4. chinese eyes?  slanted eyes silly.  and slanted eyes are normal... just not really a normal occurrence in african americans (full blacks) - as far as i know, at least.  i believe that there are some things that can help, but i just don't really feel like looking them up.  one of my cousins (japanese) has really slanted eyes, and tried using some adhesive strips to get them to fix, but in reality, you'll probably need more than adhesive strips to give you a long-lasting to permanent effect.  i think that surgery is the only way to change that.

  5. you could have been adopted

  6. that just how your eyes are alot of black girls or guys have that someone in my class does and she black

  7. I have the same Chinese eyes, it's okay, I think they're exotic.

Plus, there's no such thing as a pure race.

  8. You could have genes from an Asiatic ancestry that just surfaced in you.  Its not like your parents had just showed up on the planet.  Long histories of people have migrated back and forth from Africa to Asia and back for eons.  Somewhere along the line one or both of your parents picked up that trait.  That's the best answer....now for the worst answer....Your dad might not be your dad.  If your mom had s*x with an asian man or with a black man with asiatic traits then those genes would have been passed to you.

  9. erm... surgery?

  10. What's wrong with Chinese eyes?

  11. VERY few people on this planet are "full" anything.  And African-Americans have been intermixed with various other races for 300 years of American history -- white, Native American, possibly Asian as well.  I'm sure you know who your parents and grandparents were, but unless you also know who your great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, and great-great-great-grandparents were, you can't be sure who's in your family tree. (None of us can, really.)

And you'd have to consult a cosmetic surgeon for advice about plastic surgery to alter the shape of your eyes.  That would be the only way.

  12. First of all, I guarantee your parents aren't "full Black".  If you have so-called "Chinese eyes", then those are your eyes, and you should be proud of them.  There is nothing you can do to make your eyes "normal".  Part of growing up is being insecure about your appearance.  When you're older, you'll be happy about what makes you special.

  13. How racist =(.

No offense but that's REALLY RACIST. Seriously. That will offend MANY PEOPLE!

Even though I'm not Chinese that still offending.

And what's "NORMAL EYES TO YOU" Are you talking about Western Eyes? Big?

Thumbs me DOWN I don't care. I know what I'm saying is what's true.

  14. embrace you features. You never know you just my have a drop of asian in you. You should try to trace back your family history if u can.

  15. I think your eyes sound very pretty.  'Chinese' eyes don't mean you're Chinese.  There are places in Africa where people have Chinese-looking eyes, and they have no Chinese blood in them.

Maybe you could change the look with makeup, but you shouldn't. You should be happy with how you look.

(BTW, I have read some of the other answers here. I don't think you're being racist or even disrespectful to Chinese people. It's natural not to want to look Chinese if you're not Chinese.  I'm just saying that many African Americans have eyes like this and I don't think they look strange, I think they can look very nice.  And I know they're not part Chinese.)

  16. I really don't understand why you would want to change that...I have people tell me all the time I look half Chinese (I'm not Asian at all), but I don't take offense to that. I read your question and imagined that would be very pretty, but apparantly you want to look "normal" instead of Chinese because you think that feature only belongs to that race?? Wtf?

  17. Who says that people who have squinty eyes aren't normal :P

Maybe caucasions are the ones with the weird eyes :p

  18. Well, there is plastic surgery, if you feel that strongly about it.

In the programs that have been on PBS in the past few years, in which the ancestry of various famous African-americans has been traced, it has been brought out that some African-americans have Asian ancestry dating from the 19th century. The one person I recall on the program who did is a female astronaut- her name was Mae Jemison. She said something like when she was in the Peace Corps in Cambodia or somewhere over there in the far east, one of the people she knew told her that she looked like his aunt. They said on the program that if you have that Asian look, you probably do have some Asian ancestry.

  19. maybe you should stop wearing contacts, or at least try a different type of contacts
