  1. If you have a Schengen visa, it doesn't matter whether you go to the NLs or Germany because both belong to the Schengen zone. As the other answerer said the only problem is if you have to transfer at an airport in another (non-Schengen) country but I wouldn't be worried about that because the main airport in the NLs is huge and they have many hubs going to Schengen countries. That is why it is not likely that you would be redirected to a non-Schengen country. Germany and the NLs are only one hour away from each other by plane anyway.

  2. well its all depends on your citizenship.

if you are traveling through Netherlands in " transit' you didn't need additional visa but you cannot leave or change airports even if your flight get delayed or CHANGED. you will redirected to a country which they allow you nationality cross without Visa and that can be frustrating.

call the airline and share you ALL YOUR INFO with them they will give you   direct answer

  3. It depends on the categorisation of Schengen visa that you have.  e.g. if you have a airport transit visa (for Germany) only then no.  If you have e.g. a multi-entry visa with no restrictions on countries, then yes

Many people think there is just a one-type Schengen visa which allows you to exit & re-enter, and enter to all Schengen states, whereas in fact this is not the case, so take care

You can check on your visa which categorisation you have and then read what this means here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schengen_ar...

If you are unsure still, then it is best that you contact the German embassy that issued the visa before you leave.  This way you can ensure you have 100% accurate info (which is not always the case on Y!A)

  4. If you have a Schengen visa you are allow to.
