  1. Triamcinolone is a cortico-steroid used to lessen inflammation. It may help with stretching but will not cure phimosis on its own. I'd use it on just the swelling and tight bit. It's a different cream to Betamethasone, the more active form that is the best one for stretching.

Here's a link to my detailed stretching instructions that should help you cure phimosis. They will only work if the yeast infection is really cleared up.

Avoid using soap to clean it as that can induce a yeast or fungal infection. Don't worry too much about the cleaning until you get it stretched more. Email me if you have more questions after you read my instructions.

Avoid circumcision (and ignore those with a fetish, who advocate that as the only appropriate treatment). Circumcision should only be used as a last resort, not as a first option.

  2. I agree with Geoff's advice, probably just put the cream on the swollen bit. Usually betamethasone works for phimosis but if your f******n is already getting better just practice pulling it back daily and it should be able to retract after a while. Rinse under there with water very well, I would not recommend soap because that area is usually too sensitive for soap, if you do use soap then make sure it's very mild and you don't use too much. Soap can actually cause problems if used on the genitals because the skin is so sensitive.

  3. Did he actually find a yeast infection?  If he did, using lots of soap isn't a good thing (even if you dont have an infection) because soap removes both the bad and GOOD bacteria.  Too much soap can also cause your skin to get dry and can cause redness/soreness and even an infection.... which would actually make trying to get rid of phimosis worse.  All you have to do hand rinse the area with water AFTER you are done using shampoo and any other product, then make sure you dry the area once you are out of the shower.

The cream he gave you was to get rid of the yeast infection, not phimosis.  Simply apply the creme 2 to 3 times a day on the area affected (pull back the skin as much as you can and apply the cream).  However, since you are only 13, I dont think you have phimosis... or at least nothing serious.  During puberty retraction will naturally become possible.  You can lightly stretch the skin daily to speed this up, but your experience is normal for someone your age.  Wait a few years and this should go away.

  4. Phimosis is not serious and happens to many kids. You have to stretch the f******n to allow it to be pulled back over the glans (head) when it is hard, erected.

The best way is to stretch the f******n against the hard glans (head), a little bit every day pulling back on it until it hurts a little, but not too hard as to injure the skin. Pulling on it in the shower may be easier for you.

Here's an idea that might help. Before you get it hard and pull the skin, put a few drops of olive oil or baby oil on the head. That will make it slide easier. Do not use soap or shampoo or lotion. They are caustic and burn the tender skin.

  5. Get circumcised

  6. regularly pull your skin back and forth a few times a day for a few months and it should eventually stretch out and go away.
