well i have madden 09 for ps2... im pretty sure that theya re the same...

yes you can create players... for franchise, play now, nfl superstar, ect

i think you can create plays and formations but im not to sure i dont really do that

AP!  his player icon is a star... he is overall 95, 96 speed, 99 acceleration, 76 strenght, 98 agility, 70 awarness, 77 catching, 79 carring, 84 toughness, 94 jumping,

now i got all that AP stuff from a webiste so it might be differnet now... idk but that is about it
