    Suggestions:

If possible, record your class to a cassette, cd, mp3 player, or whatever. Then listen to it when you're just hanging out. Like, take a bike ride. Go to the gym. Or go for a walk. Do you have a commute? Listen then. It really helps.

Study a little bit at a time so you don't get overly sick of it. Okay, I do NOT enjoy latin. So I make some flash cards, then take a break for anywhere from an hour to a day. (Depends how much time you have  and how much you dislike the subject) Then I'll come back and quiz myself a litte...take a break, switch subjects... everything is okay in moderation.

Read over your notes before you go to bed. While you sleep stuff goes from short term to long term memory - since your notes are now fresh in your mind when you go to sleep, you'll remember them better in the morning.

These help me a lot, I hope they help you too :)
