I Have a spot on my nipple and ive had it for about 2 years. I really want to get rid of it any advice.

It's important to know what size, color, and consistency this spot has in order to offer better advice, however if you have had it for two years and there has been little or no change I doubt we are dealing with something very serious, but your best option is to see a dermatologist and get his opinion. He may decide to just keep an eye on it for a while or go ahead with your decision to get rid of it.

    Skin in the nipples and areola ( the darker part surrounding the nipple) is like skin anywhere in the body and can have many abnormalities. Also, the skin may not be uniform in color, particularly if the tissue is growing and changing. The areola will also develop little bumps (called Montgomery glands) and little glands( sebaceous glands) that are normal. Without examination, I cannot tell you whether this is just growing breast tissue or some other abnormality, but the skin doctor can.

  3. I'm a nurse..a spot could be anything and YOUR doctor should take a look at it.
