I Have connected my two laptops together but how do i send stuff between them?

Hi the laptop that has the pics on is windows xp and the laptop that i want the pics on is a vista. I am using a cross cable and the status say connected but how do i start send stuff through

If you open my computer, you should see the other computer - open to view the files there and transfer

i wud share the directory or drive where ur stuff is then in network neighbourhood you should be able to find PC name and the shared folder

there maybe a shared folder setup u cud put stuff in there
