I Have just sent my passport application in(GB)?

Question

And realised i havnt put the date where i had to sign at the back of the application form everything else is ok its my first passport and its been countersigned and no further mistakes will the application be accepted or does anyone have any idea what might happen thanks

I remember mine took absolute ages to get done and kept having to do the form again and again as I had missed bits here and there. Cannot tell you it'll be alright, and won't probably find out for a couple of weeks anyway.

The Passport Office can be quite strict on even the smallest detail so do not get stressed if they return your application for the date.

I do hope you have given enough time for your application to be processed before you need to use it.

just ring them sarah,when i had what i thought was a problem i rang them i found them very polite and very helpful.i got my passport threw in 2 weeks.well done to them i say.you will always find if you polite with people the will go out there way to help you..

If anything is wrong they will return it and ask you to make the corrections needed.

As a teacher I can countersign passports and had to redo my friends as the Passport Office regected the photo for being too close.

She got it back within two weeks though.
