  1. There is a ton of great tasting vegetarian food.  I like to eat pastas with veggies mixed in.  Also, morning star grillers, are a great burger substitute.  Morningstar chix patties, especially the parmesan ranch ones are delicious.  I like tofu, I prefer it fried with some type of sauce.  I love to make veggie sandwiches.  It depends on what kinds of foods you liked before you were a vegetarian.  Lots of times you can continue to eat those foods, and just use meat substitutes.  Rice and beans are always good.  Make sure you are getting plenty of protein from eating protein rich foods such as nuts, and beans.

  2. Visit Peta2.com, they have all kinds of vegetarian and vegan recipes! I made the lasagna, and it was DELICIOUS.

They also have lists of grab-and-go things that are vegetarian and vegan from various fast food chains and gas stations.

    It's really helpful.

  3. Tofu steak

    Tofu croquette

Tofu becomes like a white meat (chicken) after cooked, so you can use and arrange in a variety of meal.

  4. at mighty taco they have rlly gud veggie tacos :)

  7. So am I!

But I have been for about 1 1/2 years.

Just to let you know [for me at least] the first 3 months were the hardest. I craved meat SO bad. But once I got through that it was pretty easy. If you became one for the sake of animals and such and didn't really like meat in the first place it should be pretty easy. I started because I have really bad cholesterol so it helped me there.

Anyway, back to your original question. Haha.

I love boca burgers, they're so good. Also the brand "morning star" has a lot of fake meat and meat substitutes which are good.

A lot of regular recipe's can be substituted with the fake meat and taste just as delicious.

    :]

  8. buy the meatless ground meat and make tacos, that's what i used to love when I was a vegetarian.  And the veggie corndogs taste pretty much like real corndogs.

  9. I like to make vegetarian patties to eat in sandwiches.  One of my favorites is sliced up egg plant, steam it in a little bit of water until soft....then I'll mash it with an egg, bread crumb and seasonings and form patties and bake until golden.

  10. make vegetable pizza or meat-less burgers. there are tons of recipes online.

  11. veggie burgers=)

    try this site:

  12. BK Quad Stacker

  13. garbanzo beans (aka chick peas) are a nice snack right out of the can. be sure to rinse them first.

  14. go to peta2.com

and make the silverstein fried "chickn"

    omg its SOOOO good

  15. i like boca burgers

  16. Go to an Indian store and buy Garam Masala (a mix of cooking spices) and ground turmeric.

Chop your choice of veggies (even potatoes and onions will do).

Saute the chopped veggies in cooking oil and add salt, garam masala, turmeric and red chilly powder to taste.

The veggies are cooked and ready to be eaten with chapatis or used as nutritious and wholesome sandwich filling.

    Yumm...

  17. i love my grilled veggies! you can dice up anything with olive oil, salt and pepper, stick it in tin foil and grill it
