I Have some american wii games that don't work on my wii so i bought a free loader

I installed the free loader and i put in the americna game and it gives me an option to start it which i do but then it goes all black nothing comes off is this because i havwe litttle battery life in my remote

I think that the last update disabled freeloader devices from working as well as disabling homebrew items too.
