  1. Hey man, you can't upgrade the CPU in your laptop, as about 90% of laptops have an integrated CPU (Squished, Heated, Stuck-On). If you 'could' upgrade the CPU, the average upgrade from 1.83Ghz, to 2.xGhz+ costs around about $200-$600. And you'd also need to realize that the CPU has to be compatible with the Motherboard

  2. Turn off your CAPS, people here are not blind.

How the h**l can people tell you how much when no one knows what you have

  3. Not knowing what laptop you have, tough to answer.  Most laptops have hard-soldered CPUs, so there is no way to swap them out for a new one.  I'd say there is a 99% chance you are stuck with the CPU you have now given you did not tell us what kind of laptop you have.

  4. couple hundred most likely. and laptops are NOT easy to upgrade... but i reccommend newegg.com

  5. Please Don't use ALL-CAPS.

To upgrade a laptops processor is possible, but very difficult.

    1st, flash your motherboards BIOS.

Next, find out which processors are compatible with your laptop.

Then, install the processor, look for guides, search for some on Google.
