People are responsible for their own happiness. Certain people will aid your happiness as well as material objects and good credit reports will. No one is responsible for another's happiness, the person itself can always choose to move on or find some sort of escape if they're unhappy.

Whatever makes you happy, makes you happy.

Oh, anything is possible in the la-la land of advertising. If only an inkling of it was based in reality and it was indeed logical to assume that getting a free credit report would manifest a "dream girl". *Hurl*.

A real answer? ;-):

I think we work hard to achieve only the "majority's" illusion of happiness and pleasure. And, we either never seem to get there, as the "media" changes or adds to "its" mind about how we should be, why, and how, or we fill up emotional and psychological voids with these illusions and wonder why we're still not happy. Being "rich", "successful", and lo and behold, now, getting a free credit report *should* bring us happiness--a dream girl, even. Like, running up a mudslide without knowing why, if you ask me.

No one is responsible for our happiness. We're not robots that are controlled by the media or by other people. Some people contribute to our happiness, others take from it. Those that continually take from it aren't worth our time. Life is flippin' short and it is OUR opportunity. No one ultimately, emotionally owns us, nor is there one person that *can* guarantee another person's happiness. Sometimes it appears that way, though. A person *could* certainly represent the icing on the cake, so to speak in a series of negative (or positive events)--the last grain of sand that knocks the whole pile down (or, the grain that "completes" the pile). But, still, the person is not responsible for handing a person ultimate happiness or ruining it forever. Just a representation of that last thing that was needed or not needed which helped tipped the tide.

In my opinion, if you have enough to eat and are relatively healthy, you have EVERYTHING you need to seize 'happy' by the short hairs. If you don't find this to be true, in this instance, then perhaps it is time for a change. Perhaps, one that involves opening one's eyes, ears, and arms to the real problems of others. Those that do not have anything to do with self-created drama like, failing to live up to society's standards, traffic, gossip, or strapping oneself to happiness suckers. I often hear people say: "I seemingly have it all, but am still unhappy". A statement of inexperience, naivity, and selfishness, in my opinion. Eyes wide shut, man.
