I Just found a spider, what kind is it??

Question

He is very small.

Orange with black stripes.

Resembles a small ant, but the legs resemble a spider.

My step-dad wont take him out of the jar we put it under untill he knows what kind or if it has poisen in it.

Help please. :/

Take it to a zoo and ask an entomologist. usually in the building w/ spiders, scorpians and reptiles.

All spiders are venomous - that is they all have fangs and venom.  That is how all spiders kill their food and eat it.

There's really no way to identify it without further details.  How big is it?  Does it have hair or not?  There's tons of species of "ant mimic jumping spiders", so there's no way to tell from the description you gave.

only few rare spiders that are only found in certain areas of ceartain countries are dangerous to humans your dads not verey bright huh :D
