I Just found out I'm Expecting a baby. What should I Expect at my first Doctor's Visit Tomorrow?

Last night I took a HPT, and today I went to the doctors and their tests confirm I am pregnant. So my question is, what should I expect at my first Prenatal visit tomorrow??

I just had my first visit a week ago.  You'll get a pap smear, they ask a LOT of medical history questions, they take blood to do testing, I got an ultrasound, and you get a "care bag" with a bunch of coupons and goodies in it! :)

Not a whole lot I just went last Wed, and all they did was take all my info, took some blood and check my weight! They ask a lot of personal questions and let you ask some question if you have any! I didn't see my Doc though either! I don't see him until the 8th, but have a sono this Wed! Well congrats and good luck!

Expect a lot of questions. Maybe a vaginal exam and ultrasound. A script for lots of blood work. At every appointment they will take your weight and make you pee in a cup. Congratulations!

Well a lot of questions to begin with u know how they need to know all ur background and ur baby's father also a lot blood work to check for anemia, etc and probably a pelvic exam  but sumtimes they leave that for the 2nd appt. Good luck!

Not a lot. They'll take your weight and blood pressure. You'll pee in a cup and talk to your doctor. They'll kind of give you an over view of what's going to happen for the next nine months and they'll probably prescribe you some prenatal vitamins. Congratulations!
