  1. ive done a few of these, now if its the same as the ones ive done, when it says that, it means you can only watch when the handbrake is on. It knows because the active lead that lights up on your dash when the handbrake is on is the lead you need to connect it to so it will work. To bypass this i usually just wire the lead to a known active like the acc lead or something that will stay active. This tells the head unit that the handbrake is on and lets the screen come on to watch all the time.

  2. there is green or pink wire that is sapose to go to your parking/gear break...put that wire straingt to ground

  3. its the parking brake wire. i believe its brown. just ground it to your cigarette lighter wire or tie it in with ground for radio

  4. Alpine typically uses a much more complex safety interlock system on their in-dash mobile video units.  You won't be able to defeat it by grounding a wire.
