I Just got directV Hr-21 receiver. When I am on a HD channel I get a 4:3. Which I try to stretch.

I press the format button on remote which shows option but will not change to them. I only want to strectch from the 4:3 to prevent burn in on my LCD Samsung. I was watching NFL Network for about 2 hours on a game I miss when all of a sudden a commercial break and I fast foward through it and then the screen had streched to the way I wanted it. Weird

You don't have too worry about burn in on an LCD tv only plasma.
