  1. why have you decided to stop taking them? if the side effects are so bad? you dont want to be sectioned surely? you never said why it was that u felt u had to stop.

  2. Dont take the medication..Its all experimentation social control and the killing of your soul...Dont go around acting up and they cannot just lock you up forever, you got rights,,Cutting down slowly might have helped...BUT DONT TAKE THE MEDICATION..

  3. He can't have you commited to a psych ward against your will unless you are a danger to yourself or others. You have the right to refuse your medication. It doesn't sound like it's a good idea, since you say you are having side effects already, but it is still your choice to make. With the meds you are taking, it can really mess you up if you suddenly stop taking them. If you really want to get off your meds, why not schedule an appointment with your psychiatrist to discuss reducing or changing your meds? This would be a much safer idea vs. just suddenly stopping your meds.

  4. I would not recommend you stop taking these type of drugs "cold turkey" ..after all there is a reason why you had to start taking them in the 1st place...I am sure you know the nightmares you are experiencing are probably withdrawal symptoms from your body's dependency on the drugs you have been ingesting for 2.5yrs..

the question you really need to ask yourself is why do you feel you have to stop taking the meds all of a sudden, is it because you are feeling better? (or worse?)....either way this is something you need to share with your Mental Health Professional, let them know how you feel and that you would like to stop taking the drugs, they will instruct you on how you can go about this, but the "Cold Turkey" method is definitely not the way to go....

Perhaps circumstances have changed in your life that you feel you are stronger and are able to cope better with life's issues or you would like to be -re-evaluated as you feel like a changed individual...whatever the case, think twice about what you are doing..I would recommend you start taking the drugs as prescribed once again and do things the right way, after all you are not a doctor...in order to effectively get off this type of medication, gradual dose reduction (also known as tapering), combined with specific nutritional support is recommended to help the body and brain during withdrawal...otherwise you might end up hurting yourself and or others...Best of luck to you! and God Bless!

P.S. in the future read up on any medication you are prescribed prior to taking them, you would be surprised how many side effects most drugs contain!

  5. that is really dangerous ,i went cold turkey and  omg never again! u need to come off them slowely u will become very very ill u have been warned

  6. You can not be sectioned unless you are a danger to yourself or others but I think you should get back on your medication and talk to your social worker about cutting them down slowly. Its not good to just stop the way you have. You say you know it's not clever so why have you done this.

  7. HI there

he can not admitt you unless you are a risk to yourself and others.

its best to continue your medications as it will help you.

i have borderline personality disorder and i can't live without my meds the dreams are so bad and i can't handle not taking them. ( 225mg of effexor xr and 20mg of zyprexa)

i would suggest you get back on them asap

    take care

  8. Its not clever m8 get back on the med asap and yes he can get you sectioned my little sister suffers from schizophrenia if she doesn't take her med or collect it they or i would get her sectioned its for you re and everyone Else's safety.

By that i mean you re registered with that disorder which means the doctor is responsible for you re safety

  9. He cannot have you committed unless you are a danger to yourself or others. You're an adult (I think). You have the right to refuse your medications.
