I Killed My Boyfriend!?

i had a dream where i killed my boyfriend and was on the run with cops chasing after me for months. most of the dream was my actually killing him. what does this mean??

As we as students learn in psychology, only the dreamer can truly determine the meaning of the dream, our purpose is simply to help in the process to assist in determining what might have caused the dream, i.e. a specific event in the person's life.

I have two primary suggestions as to what the dream could mean.

The first that occured to me was, naturally according to the noxious events in your dream, was that you have deeply repressed feelings for your boyfriend, it could be anger, it could be frustration, sexual or mental, or any of other issues. Is it possible that your boyfriend brings your trouble? If so, what i'm getting is that symbolically you are trying to destroy the problems that are caused by being with this boy, and then in the process of running away from the cops you are escaping the consequences of said actions.

The other possible theory i have is that of fear. Something that your boyfriend does puts you in fear, so therefore, you eliminate the problem, literally, and the cops seem to represent [in both stories] the remnifications of your actions, i.e the reoccuring fear or guilt you have with killing him.

These interpretations are probably not true, you have to decide that for yourself, since i know nothing about you, but i trust that whatever it is, you will be capable of coping with such emotions.

Yeah right. It means you are tired of his lies and tricks he's been playing on you, and it makes you just want to kill him. Instead you ought to break up with him, and find a great, loyal boyfriend.
