I've looked all over in google and other sites, and can't really find anything for the water:rice ratio for wild rice; I'm having it for dinner tonight, and for the life of me, I just can't remember what it is. Anybody know?

  1. Standard two to one, but soak rice in water for 15 minutes before cooking. i use rice cooker panasonic. here is what some restaurants do:

add four to one boil in hot water - until done. quick wash with cold water ina large sieve add small amount of olive oil or butter. All the starch is washed out and you get non sticky rice. par boiled rice ratio is 3 to one.

  2. 3:1, use chicken stock better flavor

  3. Cook it like pasta and drain off the excess water when it's done. Thanks for your question.
