Well, I don't know what your product is, but let's just say it a facial cleanser.  What makes it special? Is it for an older or younger person? What is the packaging like?  In other words you need to figure out who you want to market this product to (I know you want EVERYONE to use it, but you're going to need to target one particular group of people. Be as specific as you can.

Once you've figured out who you are marketing your product to, the next step is to see what the competion is doing to target the same people.  What kind of langauge are they using? where are they selling their product? How much are they selling their product for?  This will tell you where you need to place your product, and how much it should sell to the public (remember, you will probably need to sell it to the retailer for 1/2 that price or a little less)

Next step, how much of the product can you make and how quickly can you get it out to the stores if they run out? Distribution is one of the most important things that you need to think about.
