just go to the DMV or DOT and get a new one. they will of course charge you for it but thats all you ahve to do!

If you just lost the license but it is still valid than you can go on your states DMV site and request a new one. They should mail it to you. But it depends on the state..

Check the website of your local DMV office.  They will tell you what you need to get a replacement.  I know that in the state of Missouri you have to go to the office and present your birth certificate.

Depending on what state you are in, you may be able to request it online, but I haven't heard of any states allowing you to do this.  Don't worry, people lose their license all of the time.  I have lost mine twice in 10 years.   It's not a big deal.
