I LOST MY LICENSE! quick help!!?

I just discovered that my license is gone and I don't know how long it's been missing for! I know if I told my parents that they wouldn't let me go anywhere until I got a new one.

How long does it take for a new one to be issued to you or whatever, what exactly do I need to do.

I'm only 18 I've only been to the DMV to take the drivers test.

You have bigger fish to fry then your parents! Your identity can be stolen off that d**n thing. You need to call the DMV and tell them you lost it, and then call your bank, and any financial places you have and tell them you lost your id. The DMV should put it in the system that you lost it and any thing taken out against your name will not be yours. You need to have as many places that you can saying you lost it as you possibly can.

go back down to the dmv and get a new one,should have it that day

just go to the DMV and get a new one.. I think it cost like $15.. you will take a new picture and you will have to wait in line like you did when you got your first license

In my state you just go to the license bureau with proof of who you are, birth certificate and SSN card and if they don't issue a new one then they issue a temporary license.
