ok so in school were focusing on monsters {like the monster in us not like the boogie man}

SO i need a good love/ romance about a woman, beaten, raped, bye another man with a man hero.

The teacher said it didnt matter if the book was "adult" because were older kids,.. so yeah.

Sigjestions?????

If you want to include a little research and do something a little different...I learned in my children's literature class that Little Red Riding Hood is actually a symbolic rape story.  The wolf is supposed to represent the creepy, evil man who wants to lure little girls into his bedroom.  And then of course, you have the hero man (the woodcutter or hunter) who comes and kills the wolf and saves her.  So if you can look up some info on that, it might work, especially since it's a nice short story :-)
