I know that everyone wants to be famous, and I am one of them! I am almost fifteen and I do not have 10,000 dollars to spend three days in a recording studio. So my question is does anyone have ideas for me to show what I can do? What are some ways people can start hearing and noticing me. Can anyone help?

  1. You can audition for contests like "American Idol". You should record yourself doing about four different songs, some rock, some pop, some jazz, to show off your different styles. Then ask around and see if any of your friends or family has connections to record dealers, you might even want to post adds up. Give the person your recorded CD, and see where you end up. You might also want to get a job singing in a bar or restaurant, or something like "Ellen's Stardust Diner" in NYC....that's how The Beatles started. Audition for commercials and parts in plays that require singing...you might get noticed.

  2. try singing in little places, start a band then start looking

and maybe u could sing somewhere. like once u go back to

school maybe if u guys have like a morning meeting or

carnivals that's wat i have then try to sing in front of them

sara lobato at the angels stadium. she sings so good.

or record urself and put it on you tube. let everyone

her but i n ur way. hope i helped

  3. Several towns and counties have "American Idol"-style singing competitions. Also, lots of schools have talent shows, and these are great ways of getting noticed if you're good. Also, ask your parents to buy you voice lessons. Voice coaches and teachers often have "connections" and they'll be able to help you out once you get old enough to be in "the business." You might never achieve stardom; most don't, but you will have the skills to make it that much closer to your dream.

  4. american idol/ x-facor / america'a/britan's got talent.

they're good shows you can audition for, you could try uploading music to youtube, get a music myspace, join a online karaoke kind of website. good luck!

  5. why do so many people ask this question. 15 year olds and 16 year olds for the most part who are famous have been n the business since they were babies.  what you see on TV isn't really what the arts are like. you want to make a living in music? spend the next 10 years of your life working towards it. almost everyone you see come out, even if they are a one hit wonder,  has spent 3 to 5 years performing, and 10 years or more developing their skills.

at your age, you legally can not perform enough or in the right places to be noticed. you need to spend time learning how to sing, learning how to manage business (because singing or anything musical/artistic IS a small business) making connections with other musicians and singers. also you should learn an instrument, piano or guitar to accompany yourself.  most people who start playing or singing end up performing locally and teaching at some level, or playing and singing music as a passionate hobby.

demos are old fashioned. after working like i suggested above and gaining performing expirience, you can get yourself a nice home recorder or a video camera and post on youtube or itunes, as well as having a web presence. most inexpensive home recording units will give you a nice enough sound to give people an idea of your potential.

  6. you should start taking voice lessons.

i love love singing too! i might start voice lessons but im not sure yet.
