I Like Someone But...?

Question

I went out with their best friend, and I've heard that he still has feelings for me..

I've known this certain person that I like for 7-8 years.

and..

his best friend *meaning my ex* was my first REAL boyfriend.

Meaning he took my first kiss..

etc..

But I broke up with him because he was lying to me.

I really don't know what to do..

Please help?

if your ex still has feelings for you then he might be a little mad that you want to date his best friend, but it shouldn't really matter what he thinks as long as you and this other guy are happy. if the new guy you like is showing signs he likes you back then go for it. and if he gets angry with his best friend for liking you then hes not much of a friend.

It depends on your feelings for the different guys. Be aware that in trying to date his best friend you will probably hurt your ex and also be cautious because some guys have a code not to date their guy's girls or ex girls...it's hard to give advice on this situation so far removed from it.
