I Look Emo But I'm Not Emo?! :o?

Question

Okay, so here the deal: I try to look like myself during school, and I usually wear my favorite colors (usually black and white) making people calling me a poser. I know I'm not emo, goth, or whatever, I'm just trying to be myself. Even one of my best friends is starting to call me a poser and I know I'm not. I'm not trying to be emo, I'm trying to wear the stuff I like (which.. looks really emo.. :o). Anyways, I want her to stop since shes my best friend, and I don't want to change how I look. I need help?

just tell the people that are saying things

"that EMO is not a style you idiots emo is short for emotional,

so know what the heck you talking about and "scene" is a style

and don't label i'm not a style i'm me take it or leave it"

i'm not emo i'm me and even if i was trying to dress scene

who cares i can dress how i want i don't think i should be stereotyped"

people are idiots

when i was in the 8th grade 4 years ago?

but anyway i wore black alot and i was going threw a "phase"

and people called me goth and picked on me alot

and some people asked me if i "sacrificed goats and did seance's"

and told me i was " to pretty to waste my life being goth"

but i stuck with who i "was" as i thought then ..

it was a really i'm mean REALLY hard emotional time for me but  

i got threw it and if i can stick it out i know you can too! :D
