I thought they were doing back to back episodes tonight. Why did I just see the new one playing and they say they're doing the other one next Sunday?

i think it was a scheduling mistake. During the week they usually show repeats.

mtv and vh1 alike have some screwed up showing times.

i swear i always go to watch a show on tivo and it's something completely different.

so that's most likely the cause. you'd think with how huge the companies are they'd have a hold on the showtimes.

Well I have 2 recorded shows of I Love Money today, one was at 10 am and the other was at 11 am CST.  The first was the first individual competitions and the second was the Spit Olympics so I am not sure why everyone would not see the same episodes on VH1. I looked at my guide and it shows that they are playing both of them again on VH1 tonight back to back.
