I NEED HELP/ADVICE!!?

okay, so i have recently lost thirty seven pounds. i was 265 and now im 228. i was wondering if it is bad to run at this weight. my brother and sister are telling me that its bad on my knees and stuff. i LIKE to run. and im getting better with my whole endurance. i could jog longer than ever before. so basically, my question is, is it bad to run at my weight?

  1. No absolutly not ,my aunt is about same your weigh and she runs alot and lost many pounds.if u wanna loose weigh so yea u should keep on running and if u get pain try running a litle slow or take pain killers and if u wanna stay the same as you are now stop running alot...


  2. It Is Better To run At Any weight. if You run, u have a better chance to Lose weight

  3. If it isn't causing you any pain I don't see the problem but it might be a good idea to check with your doctor to be certain.  He can do some routine tests on your knees, hips and spine and set your mind at ease.

    I like to run too so I understand.  

  4. I would assume so. Running is always bad on your knees. Ride a bicycle instead. Not only will you be burning calories, but you will also be gaining balance and building muscle in your back, legs and abs.

  5. No it is not bad to run at the weight. Sooner or later you will be skinnier and then you will be fine. Keep on running!!! Good job!
