I am twelve and i have been getting a burning feeling for two months. i have had 4 urinary tests, and one blood test and it has all come clean. I have been on three different prescription pills for yeast, and three different yeast cream treatments. The first time i did the cream i did the 7 day treatment and i could find where to put it up so i just put it around the area. the second time i did a 3 day treatment and the little buttery thing kept on slipping out. The third time i did the cream the doctor said that I should just put it on the outside of the area because it was so inflamed. Last time I went to the doctor she told me that it looked like i had a yeast infection. she did a swab test and said that i had bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection. She gave me some pills for

the vaginosis and the third yeast cream. She also gave me a pill that turns my pee a orange color. Now i am done with it and it is still burning down the air. the doctor did another swab test and said that the vaginosis was gone but the yeast was still there. she gave me another yeast pill and now i am on the second day of that pill but the burning doesnt seem to be getting better! i dont know what to do and i dont want this to still be burning when school starts in three days. i havent started my period yet. also i am not getting any itching just burning and i am also getting some creamy colored discharge. please help me. is there any way i could cure this quickly?

thanks

  1. The horrible thing about using antibiotics, like you used to clear up your vaginosis, is that it allows yeast to proliferate.  Lots of women get yeast infections when they take antibiotics.  Because you already had a yeast infection while you were on antibiotics, and because you already used a few antifungal creams, you have developed a heavier infection that is more resistant to treatment.  Have you tried using the cream/gel that comes in the over the counter yeast infection kits that soothes the burning/itching?  That may help you.  Eating lots of yogurt is also good for helping relieve a yeast burden in the body.  Another natural remedy is making a solution of 5 parts water/1 part vinegar and cleaning your v****a with it daily, making sure to rinse after with lukewarm water; yeast cannot survive acidic environments. Taking a bath with a few tablespoons of tea tree oil (from health stores) is another home remedy, but definitely continue your pills at the same time, and remember not to stop taking them until they are all finished, not just until you feel better, as that can lead to a relapse.  Hope I helped some :)

  2. I have had some stubborn yeast infections. My doctor prescribes me 3 Fluconazole 150 mg pills. I take one on the first day and then one 3 days later, and one 6 days after the first.

There are diffrent strenghts of Fluconazole.

You need to let your mother know that you haven't had any relief from the medication and she may be able to call the doctor to get a refill or you may have to go in but have her suggest a higher strength and more than one dose.

How horible that nothing has worked to clear it up.

PS. Eat yogurt, it will help to keep your body in balance down there but won't cure it once you have it.

  3. there are 3 day treatment eggs called mono-stat you do not need a perscription try that also natural yogurt will ease the burning and inflamed
