My hen is a light brahma (has feathers on its feet) and we found today that one of her feet is bleeding. We thought it may be a blood feather but then we noticed the other foot is bleeding in a place as well. We seperated her from the other chickens to try and stop the bleeding. Any suggestions on helping to stop the bleeding? Please answer.

  1. probably what it is,is the other chickens pecking them,I have one in a coop with 38 other chickens and she has no feathers on her feet, the other two do cause they are with 7 other chicks....

  2. well with chickens this does happen but pour some alcohol and peroxcide(sp)?and just let it air dry and they put neosporin(sp)? on it then separate it for a day or so then once it has a scab over it put some black paint on it i no but red attracts and thats why they peck and black they wont notice
