I NEED HELP!!!!!!! On finding people who sell birds around my area!!!!!!!!

I live in Texas.... I want to buy a bird and can't find where to buy one. Please help me out by finding people who sell birds in the following cities of South Texas near me..... Brownsville, Harlingen, San Benito, Bayview, Los Fresnos, and South Padre Island.

Just go to a pet shop that is bye you and you mite get lots of breeds of birds and you can take one or two home with you. That is where i got my Budgie from but it hadent been held at all, so you mite have to spend a lot of time whith it.

what type of bird are you looking for?  Texas is a great resource for me for "farm birds" I can get peafowl, turkey, guniea, ducks of all kinds.  I think I have seen pet store type breeders down there too.  in your search engine type the type of bird you want and follow that with breeders in texas and that might point you in the right direction some breeders will not sell direct to the public but if you call them and tell them where you are at and what you are looking for they can tell you who they do sell to close to you.  I have found they are helpful and sometimes they then seek out pet stores in your area because they find out the demand is there.  Good luck on your search hope you find what you want.  You can also go to local pet stores and ask them to order one in for you.  One in my area will order in the expensive parrots but will not garantee the gender they will get for you, This woman is wonderful and will not release the bird to you for 3-4 weeks so she can observe it and make sure it is health, you can go in and stay with your bird all day if you want during this time.  And the normal gaurantee goes with it for live animals when you take it home.
