Keep it out for 3 days. Then I could keep it in for another 5 weeks. I dont know if i should spend the $30 on getting this done if it is going to close up on me. The reason i have to keep it out for 3 days is so my mother wont see it.... I could put it in for a few hours at a time. SHOULD I?!?!?!?! Would there be a obvious mark once i take it out!? Can i put makeup over the piercing hole?!?!

  1. THATS IS PROBABLY A BAD IDEA.

BUT I WOULD WASTE THE MONETY. JUST DO IT YOURSELF.

    THATS WHAT ID DO.

  2. It's a bad idea to take a piercing out halfway through healing as a nose takes at least 4-5 months to heal properly. Nostril piercings are also famous for closing up really quickly as it is an area of your body that is constantly regenerating itself (The inside of your nose replaces it's cells especially the mucus lining very often!) so taking it out for three days after it has only been in for 5 weeks will mean it will heal up pretty much completely and will start healing over within about an hour i would have thought. I have had my nose pierced for almost 3 years now and even i have trouble getting a stud back in after its been out for more than 2 days!

There will also be an obvious mark if you take it out as the piercing will be sore as it won't like being fiddled with, chances are it will be red and a little bit dry around the piercing hole, if you were to cover it with make up the chemicals from it will only get into the wound and irritate it, encouraging it to grow over more quickly (as your body sees it as more of a threat) or getting trapped in the piercing and causing an infection.

  3. no thats not a good idea at all, when you get a peircing you have to leave it in for awhile to let it heal, get a nose piercing when you dont have to hide it

  4. If you have to hide it from your mother it's probably not a good idea. Because if your rushing to take it out and then to put it back in, you could get an infection.
