Ok, so I need help on this problem. It's the only math problem I don't get for some reason. I'll probably remember in twenty min. but I was wondering about this, ok? It's Algebra. :[ 6x + 3 = 2x - 13 That's all I need to know. Thanks.

  1. 6x+3 = 2x - 13

    6x - 2x = -3 -13

    4x  =  -16

    x = -4


  2. 6x - 2x = -3 -13

    4x = -16

    x = -4

    check:

    6(-4) + 3 = 2 (-4) - 13

    -24 + 3 = -8 - 13

    -21 = -21
