  1. We just went over this in my Pre-Cal

    A: (x1-x2)+(y1-y2)

    B: ((x1-x2)/2, (y1-y2)/2)

    So:

    A: -2+3=1 2+-6=4 1+4=?

    B: (1/2, 4/2) <--- you might want to reduce.

  2. Distance Formula = square root of((x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2))

    square root of(25 +64)

    = square root of 89

    Midpoint = (x1 + x2)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2

                    = ( (-2 +3)/2 , (2 - 6)/2 )

    Midpoint = (.5 , -2)

    Mrs. Harkness is wrong because she forgot that the 4 is negative.
