I NEED HELP WITH MY SIMS 2 GAME!! PLEASE HELP!!?

ok, so i installed the game, but when i click play, it says, failed to find any directx.9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! please make sure you have a directx 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have instaled the latest frivers provided by manufacturer! Well, i installed directx 9.0! and it keeps saying the same thing!!! please help me!!

okay read the message carefully. It doesn't say you don't have DirectX 9.0c. It says you don't have a Directx.9.0c compatible graphics adapter. This means that your adapter/card does not support the directX 9.0c features required by the game, namely 3D acceleration and Transform and Lighting.

To find out what card you have right-click on your desktop then choose properties. Click on the settings tab then click advanced. Click on the adapter tab. There you will find all the details of your graphics adapter.

Then compare what it says with the game requirements on the back of the box.

You will probably find you have to upgrade your card.
