I NEED HELP! choosing between FASHION DESIGN OR ACCESSORY DESIGN at FIT ? READ FULL ?? PLEASE?

Hello I need help deciding on what my design major should be at FIT I really loved handbags BUT I also love clothes how do I go about deciding picking my major ? My concern with the accessories degree program is that FIT will focus too much on shoes and not enough on handbags ESPECIALLY if I do the 2+2 with the accessory fabrication course so I'm not sure any alumni ?????? With FIT there are no double majors and you can only take one thing so I'm not sure what to apply for

Oh, how I envy you!!!  For me, I would still choose accessories design as my major since this is your passion!  Believe it or not, a lot of the major handbag designers started off as shoe designers (not that you are going to go that route in your career...just a thought).    I personally have friends who completed their education at FIT and Parsons and they are working as designers (one for Jimmy Choo and the other for Michael Kors).  They love their job and I wish I went in that direction for my career a very long time ago.
