I NEED IPOD HELP!!!?

Question

i connected my ipod to the computer, and then disconnected it.. but it says that its still connected... and it wont go to the main screen, or do anything.

im really upset.. and i dont know where the receipt is to take it back.

its brand new, i just got it a few months ago.

please help me.

If its a click wheel, press the middle button and play buton at the same time. if its a touch then press the button on the bottom(homescreen button) and the on button on the toop at the same time til it resets itself. If you just bought it you have like a year of help through the geek squad they use. Meaning you can call the apple help line and they will help you with anything. so dont worry about that. Otherwise when you disconnect it eject it first (either by itunesor the USB drive reader which is an icon at the bottom of your computer screen with a green arrow on top of this usb looking box) dont just unplug it especially if its still synching.

depends what ipod you have if its an touch hold both bottons together for like 5 seconds or until it gets black and if its a nano mini...one of the ones with the scroll wheel thing you hold either menu and the middle button or u hold the middle and play button down for like 5-10 seconds and then they should just restart bring the apple icon up then just restart and work perfectly again...hope this helped
