I NEED LAPTOP ASSISTANCE!!!! (open for discussion?)?

Me and my friend amanda were looking at p**n web sites and my laptop crashed i guess you could say. every time i turn it on it shows the dell screen. it tells you to press F2 for setup and F12 for rebooting i have tried both of them. ive tried changing settings and everything it says the same thing. "error occured. press ALT CTRL DELETE to restart" ....i dont have the money to take it to a place and get it fixed so WHAT OTHER OPTIONS DO I HAVE??????? please help me. willing to do ANYTHING to get my computer running again!!!

If you don't have the money to spend on having it fixed, prepare to lose all the data on it(movies, music, pictures, documents etc).

take the windows disk that came with the computer(if its more than a few years old, and place it in the drive, then turn on the computer and when it turns on use one of the setup options to tell it to boot from CD.

then reformat your hard drive and reinstall windows.

if your computer did not come with a windows CD/DVD then you probably have a recovery partition on your drive, it will tell you how to load the recovery partition while the computer boots.

also, after you fix your computer, install windows defender, spybot search and destroy, ad-aware by lavasoft and AVG free anti-virus. Run these programs often(at least once a week, daily if you look at p**n alot). they will help keep your computer from being infected will all kinds of nasty malware.

2nd ly...Try to repair windows or make a new install of windows XP from CD
