  1. You need none of these. Get some friggin' Apart Pizza. This is seriously the best pizza in Chicago, bar none.

  2. i suggest going to navy pier.  there are quite a few places there to eat: i suggest bubba gump shrimp company.  great food, not too super pricey, and wow what a fun and enjoyable experience.  navy pier is a really fun place to go.  they have a large aquarium there, some shopping stuff, and a huuuuuge ferris wheel.  and its right on lake michigan- right in the center of downtown.  definitely a must for a chicago visitor.  and you wont spend too much money.

    have fun, chicago is great

  3. Pizza Due - 619 N Wabash

Cheesecake Factory - lower level of John Hancock - 875 N Michigan

California Pizza Kitchen (oh my god the lasagne is to die for!) Water Tower Place - 835 N Michigan 7th floor

Athenian Room This is such a nice Greek family restaurant on the near north side http://chicago.metromix.com/restaurants/...

also look at http://chicago.metromix.com/ if you enter the food you wish and your zip code i.e. Mexican 60611 you will get more suggestions

  4. giordano's is a staple for really good pizza. if you go to the water tower place, they have a whole bunch of really good choices. and the good thing about that place is everyone gets a little card and can get whatever they want from anywhere, and it has all different kinds of choice, even a healthy cafe.

  5. What ever you do do not go to a place that you can go to when you are at home.

California Pizza Kitchens are in many areas, and the pizzas can be found in your grocers freezer.

Bubba Gump Shrimp is a chain.

Try some of our Pizza places.

Try a good bowl of Gumbo at Heaven on Seven, located at 111 North Wabash.  It is as it's name suggests on the seventh floor.  Open for lunch and dinner I think once a month but they do have another place downtown.   600 North Michigan Ave on the 2nd floor is the other location..

  6. Hey,, here is a good one near mag mile

    Cafe Des Architectes

    20 E Chestnut St

    (312) 324-4063

    Here is another one

    Le Bar

    20 E Chestnut St

    Chicago, IL 60611-2012

    (312) 324-4000

  7. Why not try something really fun that you'll not soon forget, like Ed Debevic's? The staff makes a point to be rude and pick on you, but it's all good, light-hearted fun.

Their menu can be found here:
