  1. Place two stainless steel metal grids inside a bath tub and fill it half full with salt water and rock salt! Then place the positive clip from a battery charger on one grid and the negative clip on the other grid and then plug in the charger and turn it on! Place two inverted upside down buckets over both of the grids with a valve installed on what was once the bottom and is now the top and then lines going to a compressor to capture the escaping hydrogen and oxygen gases that will be produced! This is an electrolytic reactor and although you can't reverse it and make electricity from gases it is half of the equation!

  2. I think it would be difficult for anyone to type in full instructions on how to make a fuel cell in Y!A.  It may be possible to make a rudimentary one, but it would be for demonstration only, very inefficient, and wouldn't last.  It's akin to making your own solar cells.  One can produce very weak ones in the garage, but they're not useful, except to demonstrate a principle.

If it were me, I would go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuel_cell as a start.  You can ignore the link if you don't feel like doing the research.

  3. It's actually pretty simple but there's significant technology involved.

Email me & I'll show you can purchase one that will do the job & not cost a lot of money. Then you can go back to the enjoyable drive.

  4. Sorry Bud.. but I dont think you are going to succeed.  Why not eat a cheeseburger instead.

  5. a fuel cell contains platinum. Enough said

If some one trys to sell you plans for one, they are trying to sell you a Hydrogen generator, not a fuel cell.  Report them to the FTC as scammers.
