I have these two statues of soldiers. I believe they are from WWII.

I have taken them to my local appraisal shop, they were baffled.

I think they are made from bronze / pewter, and gold or silver plated.

I am including a link to some photos.. Any idea of how much they might be worth would be a huge help!! Thanks in advance!! ALSO: They weigh about 5 pounds each... Very heavy!!

The links for the photos:

  1. The actual worth will depend on the demand of what you have.  Now if you take your statues to a World War II auction site then you'll probably get the best offer compared to a regular autioneer.  Try some of these auctioneers:

Heritage Auction Spotlights (Spotlights World War II Memorabilia) http://historical.ha.com/common/info/pre...

International Militaria (militaria collectibles from WWI and WWII)

    http://www.internationalmilitaria.com/

Now keep in mind it's best to see the peices as a set.  Especially if some have slight damages.  The pieces should compliment each other and be made from the same place.  The value also depends on what it's actually made out of so that would need to be determined as well.

    Good luck!
