ok so ive been trying to get my account unblocked for this video game i use to play for like 3 years now and the company still refuses to unblock me. They say that i was blocked for an ownership dispute but they never showed me any evidence against me and they have began to refuse to answer my "tickets." Is there any way i can take legal action against these sadistic a******s or at least get my account back

  1. Legally there’s really nothing you can do.  The Terms of Service and End User License Agreement lay out specifically what the company can do.  Technically you’re only leasing access time from the company, so they can shut off your account whenever they want.  They don’t have to prove the ownership dispute to you, and since you never owned the account – you were just leasing it – you can’t sue them based on property rights.

Also keep in mind that the minute you bring a lawyer into it, most game companies’ customer service will refuse to talk to you, and will refer you to their legal department.

  2. Sue them in small claims court, then settle the matter with them once you have their attention.

If you haven't paid for access to the site or if they can show you've violated terms of service or rule, then you probably won't have much of a case..
