The show didn't just refer to mayan's calender but it also referred to some other books such as the book of elevation and I Chang a chinese book which is 5000 years old...and a person did some calculations and came up with a graph... just look at this websites it explains everything...it's very crazy but i dont know what to say.... are all these just a coincidence ? the show also talked about the polar shifts that can cause lots of dramatic things... let me know what you think !!! i never really paid attension to 2012 cause i thought it's all nonsense...

  1. hunny if 2012 is when the antichrist will come out as the antichrist.. the false prophet, then jesus is coming to save the christians in 2009... and it is written.. no man shall know when that is.. not even the slightest idea, and furthermore..

i dont personally think that the glucose readers are the devil, and it also says those who arent saved when the lord comes back for the christians will have a chance to refuse the mark of the beast [the name or number of the beast] on their right hand or forehead, and can therefore be saved upon their death... so i agree, repent and accept the lord, but you can't go predicting when he will come, he's waiting patiently for his return, and so are we...

  2. This is a perfect example of why I do not, and will never, purchase cable. Relax... and try to adopt a more dispassionate view of the situation. The point of this so called documentary was very likely to dramatize a certain set of facts, related or unrelated, so that you will desire to watch the next one. If you were intrigued by this "discovery" that is OK - my suggestion is only that you do your own research, accumulate your own set of facts, make your own graph, and then compare your conclusions to those of the documentary. You may be surprised to find out that television documentaries very often stretch the facts to the advantage of those who benefit.

  3. this is a fascinating fantasy with an element of entertainment.

but keep in mind that logic can be made from anything the creator

    of the fantasy wishes.

  4. continue to NOT take it seriously.... I watch the same c**p, but I have yet to believe any of it.... and that youtube doozie.... wow... I want all these scare-mongers in one room so I can toss in a grenade, ya know?.... where do they get OFF putting out stuff made only to frighten people?.... especially the kids!.... there will be more disasterous consequences from these c**p sites, I predict, than from anything happening on 2012!!!....

    stay smart... forget this junk....

  5. If someone would read all of that site,Its 99% that it will make him wounder about it.

now take a look at this video! this was the first thing that freak me out about the year 2012:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-3RLx_4Y...

  6. still sceptical.

  7. Honestly, why do you care?

    Live in the now.

If the world ends it ends.

But seriously, if you believe in that goofy rumormill **** you clearly have some issues.

  8. Saw that show, fascinating the number of people who picked the same day for a disaster.

To date oracles and end of the world predictors have had a really bad track record. So I'm going to calmly wait for Dec 20 2012 if the world ends it ends if not I'll have to go to work on Monday.

  9. You were right the first time, it is a load of nonsense.

  10. I have to say that the article is very confusing. The author of this article is bascially pleading to a gifted mathimatically reader to decipher what it says.

  11. Today questions about 2012 had been asked more than 12,000 times. I have given a version of this answer more than 150 times. See also -

So Fox is running true to form and continuing to broadcast lies.  I will not have it in the house, a bunch of slimeballs, to h**l with them and Rupert Murdoch.

This stuff is all lies and fraud to get people buying faked up books, videos, watching nonsense shows on TV and directing traffic to fraudulent websites.

Pole shifts - no, not a chance. The Earth’s axis of rotation is stabilised by the Moon’s gravity.

Magnetic poles flip - no, they will just keep moving as usual. They are likely to change ends at some time in the geologically near future but it will take hundreds to thousands of years to happen. Meanwhile, the magnetic field will not disappear, but it will probably get more complex.

Mayan calendar - one of their calendars ends in 2012 because they ran out of numbers in a count of days. There is no prediction attached to this and even if there was, it would be astrology and that has been disproved so many times that it's not worth any more words.

Solar maximum - expected in 2011, maybe 2012 and it happens every 11 years anyway.

Predicted planetary “alignments” are completely false. The positions of the planets will be about as far from an "alignment" as you can imagine. The next "alignment" of the major planets is expected sometime after the Sun burns out. Even if it did happen the question would arise "So what?" Where is the physical connection between Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc?

Gravity? Like to calculate how strong the gravitational effects of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn is on Earth? Multiply the masses of the planets together, divide by the square of the distance between them and then multiply by the gravitational constant, which is a rather small number. Now add them all together and you still don't have a hill of beans.

Newton knew how to calculate this about 300 years ago, but our planetary alignment freaks never care to do the calculation because the result would make them look as silly as they are.

Venus will transit the Sun in June 2012, just as it did in 2004 and on a regular cycle before that. No noticeable effect then except on astronomers, some of whom will take measurements, no expected effect this next time.

Planet X / black hole / brown dwarf / wandering planet - No. It was predicted for 2003 by a loony woman who claimed telepathic contact with aliens. No sign of it then and still no sign of it. If this big nasty exists it must be quite close by now and visible with a fairly ordinary astronomical telescope. Where is it? The assumption that it can only be seen from the southern hemisphere and therefore astronomers don’t see it is nonsense, there are many large optical and some radio astronomical telescopes in Chile and Australia.

Nibiru was originally a separate scare and depends on some faked-up scholarship by a fraud called Z. Sitchin. He claimed to be able to read cuneiform, a script used by Babylonians among others. He could not but others can. He stole some of their work, invented the rest and claimed that some old Babylonian texts talked of a planet with a 3600 year orbit that passed close to Earth. This planet was inhabited by aliens who landed on Earth to enslave people into producing gold for them. There is no record of this 3600 years ago, yet the Babylonians and Assyrians kept extensive records.

In fact Nibiru is an old Mesopotamian name for the planet Jupiter, which will be staying right in its accustomed orbit, thank you very much. Sitchin disagreed with the "Planet X" loony though both of them were liars or frauds.

25,800 year cycles. This is called "precession of the equinoxes" and was discovered a bit more than 2100 years ago. It has been happening since the Earth formed billions of years ago and will not stop, start or change direction in 2012. There is no particular significance in the direction the poles of rotation happen to be pointing at present or in 2012.

The Bible codes were disproved within months of the first book coming out, similar coded messages can be found in any random book or even newspapers using the same "anything goes" methods faked up by the author, Michael Drosnin. He used the codes to predict a nuclear war starting in 1997. Oops.

Revelation - nobody ever made sense of those febrile maunderings, the evidence for that is that there are so many different interpretations. It has been used to predict the end on dozens of dates from the year 500AD right up to April 2008.

Nostradamus never predicted anything accurately and he may not have intended to. Many editions of his quatrains contain faked verses inserted long after he died.

Galactic central plane - we are near it, so astronomers say, but we have always been near it, though nobody actually knows exactly where it is. No exact "alignment" is possible because of the angle of the ecliptic to that of the galactic central plane. A rough “alignment” of Sun, Earth and the galactic centre happens twice every year and nothing happens. Even if there was an exact “alignment”, the question would be "So what?"

Photon belt - this one is almost the silliest of the lot. The Earth was expected to enter this region in 1997 with remarkable effects. Oops. The “photon belt” is also said to be around the "7 Sisters". Our solar system is heading away from them, not towards them. It does not exist anyway.

The I Ching is just a book of short and long lines arranged in patterns.  It has no predictive power.  It is merely superstition.

This stuff is not coincidence because all the frauds are getting on the same bandwagon.

It is all fake scholarship, pseudo-science, lies, superstition and abject delusion.

  12. hey i watched that on the discovery channel too :)

but we just have to wait till 2012 to find out but personally i dont believe it

by the way lots of other people said that too before but it never happened so ya

  13. 5000 years old?  You don't say!  It has to be trustworthy with a number that big!

Ancient wisdom is almost always wrong, unless it refers to human nature, which hasn't changed much.

You can't make a documentary about an event that hasn't even happened yet.  What you were watching was a shameless attempt to make money off an internet meme.  Or, as I like to call it, a 'crockumentary', as in 'crock of ****'.

Your first impression was correct.  It is all nonsense.

  14. If it ends, it ends.

  15. 2012 is just the revealing of the 'antichrist' or the 'man of lawlessness' at the middle of what Jews and Christians call the 7 year Tribulation. Satanists and many pagan cultures from every corner of the world all throughout history have celebrated this like  the Sumerians, Babylonians, Cherokee, Hopi, Chinese I-Ching (confirmed by Terence McKenna), Mayans (Pacal Votan), Egyptians, Celts, etc. This evil event is called "the abomination that causes desolation" that will be set up in the Jewish Temple’s Holy of Holies when the antichrist is imbued with the power of satan himself. When will Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus) come? Only God Himself knows, but very soon. If you believe or not, that is up to you; either way it still comes.

Things to look for to PROVE it to yourself soon:

    >Crash of American banks and its financial underpinning: Operation Sitting Duck

    >Fall of America as an economic power and other ways.

    >The Big One: Revelation 18. America goes down on the list of fabled societies nobody believes in any more like Atlantis, Mu, Lemuria, Hyperborea, etc..

(The brutal final empire foreseen by Daniel and John)

    >Rise of a miraculous and awe inspiring world leader later to turn world dictator.

Christians and Messianic Jews look forward to this as it means they will soon join their Messianic Saviour in the Millennial Kingdom of the next Age and their Heavenly Father later as "Children of Light". If you try to equate 2012 with Y2K or some other date that cried wolf, then you will be making the worst mistake in your life. Research all these things FOR YOURSELF!

  16. The first graph made me laugh. It has a span of 22 billion years, starting at the Big Bang and ending on Dec, 2012. That sort of accuracy is ridiculous in the extreme. Some people have a distorted view of the importance of our times. We are living in a moment in geological time, no different to any other time in history. The author, in his own words ("Using techniques that I developed for the problem...")  has developed a technique to analyse data thereby giving results that he expected. No doubt because traditional data analysis would yield results he did not want.

Anyone can concoct results and make them look plausible with graphs and tables etc. It doesn't mean that they are correct, just pretty-looking.

This issue is still just a waste of space.

    .

  17. No, it's not a coincidence.  But there's nothing special about it either.  If you try hard enough, you can find tenuous connections to whatever you want in any big book or large set of data.  It doesn't mean there's a serious, important connection.  It means you're so intent on FINDING a connection that you're willing to sit and continuously manipulate the data until a connection arises.

It's called a confirmation bias.  It says more about the people who find these connections that it does about the conclusion they're trying to draw.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmatio...

2012 is still nothing to worry about.

(and for the record, I saw that exact same special on the History Channel about two years ago.  I was a lot more gullible back then and took it seriously, doing all kinds of research into it.  So don't think this is just the reply of someone who hasn't even seriously considered the idea.)
