  1. Go for something which u find it good in the demo section, but please don't opt for creative speakers...

  2. Ask for Altec Lansing, they should be within your budget.

  3. well 2 brand that have good bass with a relatively good price is LOGITECH. check them out also check out KLIPSCH as well

if you can spend the money try the BOSE companion 5 system 2.1 speakers they are awesome but they are honestly over priced.  but you can buy 5.1 systems with the price BOSe is offering with this particular 2.1 system

check out these 4 systems I recommend.....

    read the reviews too

    good luck! =]

  4. Well, if your budget for just the speakers is a mere $3,000, then you have a lot of room for choice, and you don't even need to spend anywhere near all of it on just one pair of speakers.

I have long been a fan of the Infinity line of speakers, and last summer, I got my hands on a pair of their Beta 50 tower speakers. The price that I got was amazing, but the real draw was that there were many on line reviews from owners who paid full list price and were happy for what the speakers gave them.

With their powerful bass, I found no need for a sub in my rig.

And, their list price is only $500 a speaker, and you can find them still (Infinity is discontinuing the Beta line, in favour of newer models) for around 40% off of that price. Onecall has them for about $290 each, with a stiff $70 for shipping.

For an HT setup, I matched them up with a pair of Beta 10s.

Very nice. They're still available, as are both of the Beta line centre speakers, the 250 and the 360.

A really kickin HT rig from the Beta line would be a pair of 50s for the fronts, a pair of 20s for the rear and the monster 360 as the centre. All that can be had for around $1150. (See winbuyer.com for more info)

Put that together with a powerful HT receiver and you will feel the music...
