I Need DIeas For A Public Event To Draw Business?

Question

I work at a small Fitness Center that is in need of drawing some new members. I was planning on holding an open house/carnival like event with some local bands and food as well as scheduled tours. I was hoping some of you could give me some realistic ideas for other things that we could have that may draw more people of all ages. The price range is rather limited but all ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Contract some talent agencies and suggest a free membership for models or cheerleaders or beautiful people that they associate with who may use your services. They may persuade strippers or whoever that are drawn to such bodies, to join if there was an incentive to. Direct mail is good as any way to target the exact market, and a good list broker can develop a target market list for you for a cheap price. I would avoid the carnival thing. You may attract people but you want customers that want you.

First of all you need to update your profile so that people will know who they are talking with. I have talented people all over Florida that would be happy to have an event for exposure.

Where are you located ? If ideas came that easy most of use would already be there.
