I Need Ideas For My Thirteenth Birthday Party!?

im turning 13 this july!

im inviting BOTH girls and guys!!

but im a little bit stuck! this year im not sure what to do for my party.

i am thinking a beach party, but if that dosnt work, i need a backup plan..

please no themes!!! i want to impress my crush too, hes gawnna be there so yeah...

just something chill like my beach idea..

no beach party!  that is sooooo overdone.

seriously, i think theme parties are great when you are 6, but your 13th birthday marks the becoming of a young lady and your party should reflect that.

alot depends on your personality and your budget.  do you want your party to be casual (everybody can wear what they want and be relaxed) or more formal (everybody dresses up)?  that is the very first question you have to answer.

maybe you could have a dinner party kind of thing.  it is a bit more grown up -

here's what we did for my niece's 13th birthday party:

we used her favorite colors to decorate (orange and pink).

we cooked a dinner that everyone would like (we did Mexucan because it is her fav.)  you could do a million things!  

we had mock cocktails - fruit juice blends in fancy glasses with garnish - light snacks - and general mingling before dinner.

after dinner, we danced had cake and opened presents.

it was cool because none of the kids felt we were treating them like kids.  it was more adult and everyone was cool with that.

talk it over with your folks.

You could rent your community pool, that's what I do and everyone loves it. I just set food outside and you can eat whenever
