I Need My Onboard Sound Driver Back, But how? :(?

I Had Way To Many Problems With My Computer( Acer aspire), So I Crashed My Computer And Re Installed Windows Xp Home Edition And Lost My Sound. Can Someone Please Help Me Get My Onboard Sound Card Driver Back.

Ya sure no problem as a proud owner of both the name adam and an Acer all you need to do is go start run Dxdiag and then look under the audio component find what chipset you have a have a Ac 97' then google whatever name you have there and download the driver.

First of you need Microsoft UAA drivers

Go to the above site and download and install them

Then go to device drivers right click sound and upgrade driver it will go on the net and find and install them
