I Need Some Facts About Our Government...?

Question

I'm a senior in high school and my Government teacher attacked me because I didn't like our government completely. I need some researched facts about good and bad things on our government to get him back with. Thanks.

Well if you live in the USA, then you live in a Democratic country "of the people, by the people, for the people".  If you don't like it then you can always go live in an African country and risk being raped or have your children turned into soldiers...or you can live in Communist China which is entirely controlled by the military and police force...or you can live and work in most any poor country for anywhere from $1 - $5 per day.  Try to feed yourself let alone your family on that.  

The United States is still the best place to live in the world.  I am proud to be an American, and proud to be a registered voter where my vote does actually count and I can e-mail, write or call my elected officials and actually get responses.  Maybe you should try it sometime, you will be surprised that most actually do care about your ideas and hopes and dreams.
